Finally, the project Aron Beauregard and I have been working on for over a year is ready for release. We’ve officially set up the pre-orders for both of our books on our websites. These are limited hardcovers and are numbered. We’re expecting them to sell fast, so secure your copy today.
Left to You re-release
If you’ve followed me for the last few years, you’ve at least seen or heard about my novel, Left to You. This book is one of my favorites and deviates from the extreme violence and sex, focusing more on the story. Now, I’m not saying there isn’t violence and just a bit of sex, but compared to books like Talia or A Gift of Death this book is fairly tame. Left to You is part historical horror, focusing a large part of the book in Auschwitz, and part supernatural. It has made some readers emotional, ranging from shock, grief, anger, and sadness. This book was a heavy one to write and has been loved by readers from around the world.
Recently, I acquired my rights back for this and again worked with Don Noble on the cover art. Wow, did Don deliver once again. This cover tops the original, capturing the eye and not letting go. The prequel story to this book, For the Better, will hopefully debut at Authorcon in Williamsburg VA in April of this year. Stay tuned for more info on that one as well. Plastic Monsters audiobook
Earlier in the month my Splatterpunk Award-winning novella, Plastic Monsters was released in audiobook.
This book follows a woman named Pam, who is fighting a losing battle against nature. All she’s ever wanted in life is to be beautiful, but her delicate psyche can only handle so much. Enter doctor Joseph DiBiro, disgraced plastic surgeon and ex-con. Now free in the world after serving a lengthy prison sentence, Joe has no hope of getting back into medicine. When Pam meets Joe, she creates a wild plan for the ultimate in beauty. Will they make art of flesh and plastic? Or will their perversions lead them down an even darker path?
This book, like Talia, was narrated by the talented, Sierra Kline. Sierra has been nothing but a dream to work with. She’s incredibly talented, with a wide range in her male and female voices. Her work is always on time and clean, and the inflection in her delivery is second to none. She’s a narrator I’ll continue to work with in the foreseeable future.
What’s to come in 2024?
At the end of every year, I will draw on my magic whiteboard, and outline what I’d like to accomplish for the following year. 2024 is no different. My first few releases are done and will be out within the next 6 months. This includes a new novel (Through the Eyes of Desperation: The Black Version), a novella in the Crystal Lake Dark Tides Series (The Chatter of Night Bugs), a novella (For the Better), and The Obituaries issue 6.
I’m working hard on some new stuff for the year's second half. If my brain and fingers cooperate, my readers will have another novel, a brand-new collection, and a sequel. But, I always have high hopes, so we’ll see how it goes.
Thank you all for the support.
